What I like about the StreamCam camera is that it gets good reviews overall, can go from 360p to 1080p, shoots in landscape and portrait, and has a pretty fast auto-focus. What I don’t like is that there is a very annoying and constant flickering on the top and middle of the picture.Definitely download the “Logitech Capture” software, and from a YouTube review, also try to find the “Logitech Camera Settings” software download since it gives you better controls over brightness, contrast and white balance. “Camera Settings” is not meant for the StreamCam, but it works very well with it. “Camera Settings” once loaded also seemed to reduce, but not completely eliminate the flicker.I have yet to try to use the StreamCam with proper lighting, but with just a table lamp, there is a slight grain [high ISO?] to the image. But in low light I was able to get a nice white balance in the software settings. One more thing about that flicker; when I unplug my laptop from the power brick [HP ZBook 17 G6], the flicker goes completely away. I have tried to plug the USB-C into a thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop, a Thunderbolt 3 port on a CalDigit TB3 hub, and a USB-C on my external monitor, and all have the flicker until I disconnect the power brick. I have not tried a USB-C adapter to a USB-A dongle, since I’ve read that you can’t get 1080p.I purchased the StreamCam for $98, but if I had paid the going price of $169, I would be returning it because of the flicker. To the people complaining that they didn’t get a tripod, the description clearly says “tripod mount”, and that is the second mount in the box along with the monitor mount.

Yes it is not 4K but the Mic is so good, saved me from sounding funny during meetings and 1080p is not that bad particularly if you are coming from 720p.

Just FYI sold as new it’s deff not even a Logitech refurb. The plus conee with a tripod I guess I’ll have to save for one… Kinda wish I looked at the reviews before buying.
